The tailoring of tracksuit has been recognized as one of the critical capability development (CCD) programs under Ministry of Labour & Human Resources (MoLHR) , DNHRD. The training program which was 2 weeks long from 3rd May – 17th May, 2022 was successfully completed by Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in collaboration with MoLHR.
The closing program was graced by his honorable Dasho Dzongrab, who did the honor of distributing certificates to each of the 20 trainees.
The 2 weeks program focused on drafting pattern, cutting, stitching and finishing of Tracksuit Jacket and Trouser.
The final products were assessed and have to be submitted to the DNHRD for further distribution.
The trainees were happy and satisfied with the quality of the training program and said that it will be helpful in scaling up their business.
